reading response

If I was going to write a letter to the author I would first tell them that he wrote one of the best books I have ever read. Then I would ask what inspired him to write about such scary and frightening topic. I would ask if there was a sequel and if you ever get to find out what happens when Brain got home. I would tell them that the book really did scare me as first. I might sound like a wussy but it really did aqt first but after a while I got used to the scary stuff in the book. I would tell him that i was scared for Brian. Then as it got tot the middle a little bit after the crash I started to loose myself. I just couldn't stop reading it. I would tell him that he did a great job and that he should definitely keep writing more books. And if he does write another book I bet I would love that one too.

Gothic Kool-Ade

One of the conflicts in the story is that in one part of the book he is attacked by hundreds of misquitos. Then he needs to get some food but he can barely move so he finds a bush full of fruits and he eats a bunch of them and even when he gets full he still is shoveling down the fruits into his mouth and he cant move after that because he ate so much he throws up and cant move.

I reccomend this book to kids that are older than 11 years old because it curses and there is some grody things in the book Hatchet.

If I could talk to the auther I would ask him what had influenced him in writing this and his other books.

Gothic kool-ade

I just started reading this book a day ago called hatchet one of the conflics is that the boy in the book is alone on a plane with the thought of his mom and dad's divorce and he just can't get the word "alone" out of his head. So then the pilot tells him to come and sit in the cockpit. (front of the plane). And the pilot teaches him how to fly the plane but then suddenly the pilot has a heart attack and so the boy has to fly the plane.

I would reccomend this book to anyone that likes action books and that doesn't get scared easily because it had some very scary parts in this book. I would reccomend this boook to ages 12 and up because again its kind of scary and it has words in the book that most kids under 12 wouldn't know or understand.

If I could be any character in the story I would be the kid because even though I have to sit throught watching a heart attack I would be really good at getting attention or a radio signal or something and I would be really good a flying a plane.
